The rotating mixing stars with the mixingshovels are moving through the batch in thesame rotation direction as the rotor.Side scrapers force back the material fromthe wall towards the mixing stars. Thisensures entirely homogeneous mixing within theshortest time even with difficult material.It is possible to produce up to 60 batchesper hour, depending on the concrete qualityand the material feeding system.Powerful drive from the top to the planetary gearwith automatic lubrication. All mixer typesfrom PGM 1125 are equipped with a startinghydraulic coupling between motor andplanetary gear.This allows a smooth starting of the mixer,also in case of mixing operation interruptions.Water jet nozzles which are circularlyarranged ensure a quick water feeding,a uniform distribution of the water on thecomplete batch is given by the mixer design.Fast discharge of the mixer is guaranteedby a large pneumatically operated gate.4 discharge gates can be provided.
For the cleaning and routine maintenance themixer cover is provided with large flaps withsafety limit switches. The whole interiorspace of the mixer is used asmixing room, cleaning is therefore fast andeasy.A great advantage of the countercurrentmixing system is the low wear on the high-quality vertical lining plates and the bottomlining plates which can easily be changed,therefore remarkably long lifetime of thiswear plates and cost saving. The mixingshovels have rubber linings and arefixed on to height-adjustable supportingarms.On request the mixers can also be suppliedwith a material hoist.The material skip is equipped with a bottomdischarge gate and dust flap. The unilayerhoisting cable drum with cut - in cablegrooves ensures an exact cable guidingand a long lifetime of the cables.
